Tunnel 'n' Tower Construction Kits
These innovative kits turn ordinary cardboard into limitless adventures. Perfect for kids, they enable the creation of cubby houses, forts, and more by connecting tunnels, towers, doors, and connectors!
Here’s what’s inside…
Tall Tunnels
These create the entries and exits to a world of fun. On their side they are a tunnel for children to crawl through. On their end they’re a base for a rocket ship!
Square Towers
These rise from a network of four tunnels to create the base for a tower. Add tower tops using other parts. Add a hinged door for “jack in the box” like opening. Add triangular connectors to make a pyramid tower – the cone of a rocket ship or a tower for a princess.
On their sides square towers can create additional shorter entries or exits.
Triangular Towers
These rise from a network of three tunnels to create the base for a tower. Add one triangular connector to close off the top or three to create a pyramid.
Hinged Door
Bolt these to any opening with no connecting tabs. Hinge from the top or the side, adding fun to entering or exiting your cubby or fort.
Bolts
Our unique Australian designed and produced cardboard connection bolts are the real star here. Perfect for little hands, these make for a tool-free building experience (and are great for fine motor control too!). With your purchase, be sure to add in some extra bolts!
Panel Connector
No tabs? Create a hinge or connect non-tabbed parts with these!
Square Connector
Create a dead end to a tunnel or use with a panel connector to create a door.
Pro-Tip: These can be modifed with a step drill/holesaw or apple corer to have holes on all four sides. Doing so opens up so many more uses!
Triangular Connectors
These are our favourite pieces. Children playing with these really opened our eyes to better ways to build, so we added 4 more in!
Equilateral triangles allow you to create pyramid tops and 3D geometric shapes. Combine these with square connectors to create intricate tower designs.
Tunnel End Supports
All of our components (except these) are made of sturdy cardboard. However, laying a box on its side creates a weak point. Bolt these 9mm plywood supports across the top of an entry/exit tunnel – on top of a door hinge if there’s a door in place – to strengthen the entry.
